Commenting on Jobs: Mentioning Team Members & Notificatons

A quick guide on how to attach files or link to documents in job comments

The Job Comments feature is a powerful tool for enhancing collaboration and communication within your team. This feature allows team members to engage in real-time discussions related to specific jobs, facilitating seamless communication and information sharing.

Mentioning Team Members

Notify specific team members by mentioning their names in the comments, ensuring that important messages are brought to their attention

1️⃣ Locate the Job that you want to comment on and Click on it

2️⃣ Click on the “Job Comments” icon in the top right corner

3️⃣ Tap on the text input box
 
4️⃣ Type "@” into the text input box to mention a specific team member
OR
4️⃣ Click on "@ Notify a Team Member” to mention a specific team member

This will bring up a list of all the Team Members, and allow you to choose the member you would like to mention

5️⃣ Click on the team member you would like to mention

4️⃣ Press the "Send" icon to post the message
 

Notifications

In-app Notifications

If you have been mentioned in a comment, you will receive a notification.
In-app notifications will show on the Inbox icon in the top right corner of the home page
1️⃣ Click on the “Inbox” icon to view all comments where you have been mentioned

2️⃣ Click on the message to read it

Pop-up Notifications

While you are not in the app, notifications when you are mentioned in a comment will be in the form of pop-up notifications on your phone. Click on the “Notification” to view the message in the Energy Warehouse App.

Read and Unread Notifications

1️⃣ If you have read a message, but wish to mark it as unread, swipe left to reveal the  “Unread” icon ✉️
2️⃣ Click on the “Unread” icon

3️⃣ To mark the message as “Read” again, click on the message to open and read it
OR

3️⃣ To mark the message as “Read”, swipe left on the message and then click on the “Read” icon

If you have multiple unread messages and you want to mark them all as “Read”, click on “Mark All Read
